  Description of Services
   
  I provide  computing support in a wide variety of areas, including: computer system repairs, upgrades and troubleshooting; software installation, upgrades and troubleshooting; and networking implementation and troubleshooting. I service Macintosh as well as PC computers. I can provide instruction in network administration and management as well as various operating systems and software. I specialize in smart and efficient technological problem-solving. I also have extensive experience working within small budgets including non-profit and educational organizations.
   
  Mobility is one of my primary assets. Don't have the time or energy to waste haggling on the line with tech support only to find out you need to come to them? I come to you. I will visit your site and perform the required work right there. I'm flexible, able to work outside typical business hours. I understand that time may be critical to you and your business, and I work to make certain you are served in a timely, efficient manner.
   
  I don't claim to know it all, but my experience is very diverse. Are you finding it difficult to keep track of all the new and old technologies? I have extensive experience in Windows operating systems of all versions, common office productivity applications, database applications, and network applications. While keeping up with the current technology, I also retain my experience and working knowledge of legacy systems. So, regardless of whether you have a top-of-the-line desktop system with all the bells and whistles or you have an older machine running proprietary software, I can help!
   
  I can provide your with one-on-one interactive instruction. How many times have you wished you could sit down with the techie and pick his brain? If you're the sort who would rather learn how to do something yourself, I'm always willing to show you the techniques and the step-by-step process of getting there.
   
  In addition to labor, I can provide you with custom-built computer systems or upgrades to existing systems. I'm equally comfortable with desktop or server systems. I will also be content to advise you on purchase recommendations.
   
  Wouldn't you like someone who can understand or generate technical writing and documentation? If you've ever been stuck with a retiring technical employee who did not leave sufficient documentation, you will realize the value of coherent organization, both in systems administration and in technical documentation. I can provide these for you.
 

 

 

  Terms and Conditions of Service
  I provide on-site, telephone, and e-mail support for an hourly fee. E-mail support is billed at a reduced rate; of course, results cannot be guaranteed with e-mail support. Please contact me for current rates.
  For on-site support, there is a 1 hour minimum service charge. Travel time in my local area (Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley, Windsor) is not charged. Billing is in quarter-hour increments.
  For telephone support, there is a 5 minute minimum service charge. Preferably, current customers only will use telephone support. Results cannot be guaranteed otherwise.
  For materials and hardware that I resell to you, I charge a +15% fee. Since I buy from wholesale outlets, this often works to your advantage, since you will still receive merchandise at a more reduced cost than retail. In many cases, there is no additional charge for hardware installation.
  Physical networking (installing network cable or network ports, for example) is normally billed at a flat fee per network port, not hourly.
  I provide a limited warranty for all my work. Labor is fully warranted for 30 days as long as no additional modifications are made by another entity. That is, if someone aside from myself alters a computer system (examples of which include installing programs, changing network settings, physically moving the computer) after I work on it, the labor warranty may be void. Hardware and materials warranty is limited to the manufacturer's warranty in each case, excepting new systems purchased from me.
  I am not responsible nor liable for lost data on systems I am contracted to repair. Please back up your data before having myself or anyone else work on your system.
